# Collect less by default.

The static site and Bite Pattern Matcher are designed to work without accounts or free-text health histories.

## Bite Pattern Matcher

Matcher answers are kept in the current browser session so users can move backward and restart. They are not designed to be submitted to a server.

## Analytics

Production analytics should focus on page performance and task completion. Avoid storing free-text symptoms, wound details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

## Contact messages

Contact forms or email services require a separate privacy disclosure covering the provider, retention, and deletion process before launch.

## Cookies

Do not add non-essential trackers by default. Any future consent mechanism should reflect the actual technologies and target jurisdictions.
